ps3 ip fragment

hay to all,im new hear. im having a problem in ps3 network test im getting this massge "the router in use may not support ip fragments.... i had a dlink 2760u e1 router and after i got this massge i replace it to netgear dgn2200 v2 and i still getting the same line. (the test stop after the nat type test and stop in the download\upload speed connection). i have 15 mega speed with "gammer service",and becaused this problem im getting very high pings(150 ms) even that i suppused to get lower (about 50).in call of duty mw3 i all ready try to change my router "mtu" but it limted to1492,also try open ports and putting the ps3 ip in a "dmz". p.s the ps3 have a static ip according to this post(http://foggaming.com/modules.php?name=PS3&file=ps3_ip) and port and dmz accurding to this one (http://foggaming.com/modules.php?name=PS3&file=dlink). please help me someone have to know why im still getting this error.

I am more or less certain that error is an MTU issue i would manually set the PS3 MTU settings to match your router settings or set it to automatic failing that i would get on the phone to your internet provider to see whats going on.

i all ready try changing the mtu in the router and in the ps3 and nothing chang i still get the same error.and about calling the isp...they tells me that they dont support ps3 problems and as long that i have internet connction at home working there nothing they can do.

Well if your router/PS3 MTU settings are not resolving the problem then its your ISP causing the problem i would argue they're not providing the service you require and get them to resolve the problem or change ISP.

Who is your internet provider then maybe one of us could help or advise on settings or what to do?

hello i must say this really did do my head in for a while i didnt sleep for 2 days try n to fix this it didnt help much that i didnt realy no what i was doing but i solved it my internet provided tpg and my new netgear n600 dont like each other much what i did to fix this problem wich was by fluke i changed the Multiplexing Method on router to vc-based did the trick tpg havnt updated there lcc-bassed luckily they support both i guess its worth a shot! dont change mtu settings i tryd.....
