psn connection issues

For the last few days my psn has been extremely slow, it took me almost 5 minutes to log in. Then when I try to reply to any message it takes 3 minutes to let me even let me do that. Ive tried resetting my Internet , tried resetting the playstation settings, and i cant seem to search for others games. I doubt its a problem on my end as xbox live works perfectly fine, so just wondering if there is anything going on with psn.

Are you using Wireless or Wired because if you are using Wireless I think you should try hooking up an Ethernet cable and testing it and then see what the results are.

Also you could go to network setting and set it up again and see if that helps.

If you are on virgin you could try going on the Router settings and Disabling the Firewall and Turning Wireless completely off and test Wired.

If you are using Wired just turn off router at wall and disconnect everything and give it a good BLOW then reconnect any maybe try a different Port then go to settings and set back up.

Or maybe something simple think moving your PS3 to a more elevated level away from things that might screw with the wireless connection like TV Box / Laptop / Microwave etc.....

If none of this help try first contacting your ISP and get a technician over then maybe contact Sony :smileyvery-happy:
