sorry about the rant bt im very upset about this.

Hi kcwolf-uk,

Firstly, I'm sorry to hear of the issues you have had with your PlayStation 3 consoles. With the 5 activation limit for users, you will inevitably need to activate the new console to access these downloaded games.

The only facility that can do this is the Network Team, and by contacting the PlayStation 3 support line. What they advise for security purposes is that you are able to provide some verification of the ownership of these consoles and answer security questions. The purpose is to ensure you are the user, and not someone else who has 'shared' an account.

So they would have asked for receipts as some verification. If you do not have these the other thing I would advise is have you contacted the support line previously for any of the previous 5 consoles?

If you have, then usually the model and serial are noted down and a record may be kept proving of an issue with the system(s) in the past. In which case you could perhaps request a reset on the units that have been captured? Otherwise the only other thing is to speak to the retailer in which the PlayStation 3(s) were purchased and request another receipt. They would likely have this on record if this was paid for by card. Unfortunately I don't think the network team would be able to do a reset unless there was written verification of the console ownership (this may be obtained from the store?).

Re: why the hell wont sony help me?

You said you bought your 6th PS3 last week, and in your next post, you say the warranty expired, hence no receipt for that one?

Did you buy any of them on card?
if so, bank records!

Would you kindly???
