i have the original ps3 and its got ylod :smileysad: it aint in waranty anymore and ive had the console since like 2008 will sony still fix it for me and how much and how do i contact them to fix it? i dont want to get a slim ps3 because i dont like the slim models

Phone number for Sony is on the forums somewhere.

 

They will charge you about £130 for a re-furbished model though, which aren't very good. You can go to an independant third party repairer and let them fix it.

 

To be honest you are wasting your money. You can pick up a 160GB from Play for £170, this will come with 12 month warranty and you can always take out extra cover with it.
