Re: Activating sub account (solution) ... & multi-account sign-in (problem)

[ Edited ]

Hi All,

I too have experienced this problem (with great frustration).

Here's a solution that worked for me. Make sure that the address and location information for the Master and Sub accounts are the same. I was hesitant to include our address info for my kids and therefore entered bogus addresses. Every attempt to update the accoount was met with the ".. try again later" message.

I modified the address and location of the sub-account to be the same as my Master account address information and ... PRESTO ... it worked. They could finally access the PSN from the PS3.

Here's hoping that this works for others who are still being frustrated by this issue.

Re: Activating sub account (solution) ... & multi-account sign-in (problem)

Same problem as OP.

There is a space in the sub account address for "city", we never put this in our postal address as we do not live IN a city. I typed in the closest one and hey presto ! Hours of heart ache and retrying.

I'm sure this is to force everyone down the unrestricted account path, I have asked a few of my sons mates how they have sorted their accounts, the reply is that they have full access, Dad says it is easier...
