The automatic update feature keeps updating games I no longer own.  Even after I delete the game data!

With System Software version 4.00 and above PS + members can now select which items are updated with the automatic update feature. 

So if you have a game which you no longer own or use which continues to update please do the following.

Go to Settings > System Settings > Automatic Update

You will then be shown the below screen.



Simply un-tick Download game patches from the list and your console will no longer attempt to install game updates.
