Hello, I pre-ordered BL2 A week or so on the PSN, with it stating that I would be charged for about midnight this morning (19/9). When I went on this morning it was available for me to download, so I started to do so.

I then checked my emails and got one from Sony saying I had insufficent funds (I do - auto-transactions on my account are turned off). So when will I be charged? I ask incase I wind up accidently paying for the game twice - If I buy it again now to rectify the problem, what's to stop me from being double charged?

Im going to look into this for you now.   Keep your auto wallet funding off until we can get to the bottom of this.

Ok Doctor_David,

You will have to turn on auto funding back on.  Even though you can download the product it will not be playable until after the release date and the successful transfer of funds out of your wallet.

Hi,

I have a similar problem. I pre ordered borderlands 2 on psn yesterday afternoon, even though I did not have the correct amount in my wallet (automatic funding on), I therefor completed the download of the game as well as the premiere club file. Immediately  afterwards, I funded my wallet with the correct ammount. After the game had finished download and install completely, I found that I could not access the game and went back on the psn store. It had come to my attention that my pre-order had been cancelled. I tried to re-purchase the pre-order seeing as I now have the correct ammount of funds in the wallet, yet I cannot access the pre-order on psn store. 

Please help, as I would really love to get this game on pre-order.

I have same problem as AK_GOVENDER. I can't re-pre-order it on PS Store anymore because of "The content cannot be accessed on your account.". I really don't want to lose the Premiere Club DLC so quick response would be appreciated.

Hi AK_GOVENDER,

A second attempt to fund the wallet and purchase the game is made prior to the games release (if the first failed). Provided the card details are saved on the account and there are adequate funds, there should be no issues.

You won't be able to actually play the game until its official release date tomorrow, the download is the game data, but until successful funding the game will not be able to be played.

So how do I go about insuring that I will infact get the premiere club dlc along with the game seeing as it gets released 2am tomorrow morning. From what you have told me, I understand that as long as I do have the funds in my wallet, it will automatically retry the purchase for me? (correct me if I am wrong).

Hi AK_GOVENDER,

The pre-order should go through as normal as long as the funds are in there to pay for it, and therefore you should get the pre-order content.

A second attempt at payment will be made before the games release if it has failed. If it does fail again the preorder will be cancelled and you will have to proceed with the purchase again, but may miss out on the content.

If you are worried you can cancel the preorder you have there, and process it again through the store.

To cancel the pre-order you go to Account Management> Transaction History> (confirm the email and purchase period). You then click on the product and it will tell you the game pre ordered with the option to cancel it.

That's exactly what I've been trying to do but I cannot access the item on PS Store anymore.

Exactly the same problem I have been experiencing. It's as if sony has blocked our accounts from the pre-order due to it being cancelled. The email did say that in some cases the content may not be accessable again which I find ridiculous. Really hoping to resolve this problem before release.
