Deactivating a PS3

Hi all, I have been given use of a PS3 and want to activate it with my network ID but it already has someone's account linked to it, I don't know who the account is so cannot do tithe usual way via online, any ideas?

It doesn't matter if their account is linked to it, just create a new user, delete their information from the console and install yours, and if you know the person who you bought it from direct them to this website https://account.sonyentertainmentnetwork.com and ask them to deactivate it.
