Downloading game updates via pc?

Is it possible to download game updates via a pc? When I try download stuff (specifically the gt5 update you do when you first play the game which is 1192MB i think) it starts off strong, slows down, then just stops. It has happened several times. So thats why I was wondering if its possible to download an update on a pc (because downloads go quicker on the pc) then to install it? I so, how do you do it?

Sorry, can't be done. It is an attempt to avoid piracy and/or code modification, I believe.

Oh lame. I reckon they should look into something like this. I do suppose you will get some people that with modify the code... Oh well. I'll keep trying
