Hi guys, having problmes with connecting/Lagging issues whilst the laptop is being used in a differnt room. It seems that once the laptop is being used, I get problmes with the connection e.g whilst in a game Iwould disconnect 

Should i move the ps3 into the room which the router is in? The laptops connection is fine.

Is the signal level dropping (Internet connection settings part of XMB) when your laptop is connected? Or does it entirely disconnect from the internet?

I would guess that the router may be underpowered and can't handle the multiple connections, and as the PS3 is more demanding it can't cope with the connection. You could try moving it closer and seeing if it helps.

You may need to upgrade your connection as the more devices that use internet, the slower it is.

Thing is, this is just been happening recently 

I will move the ps3 into the room which the router is in and redo the connection thing again

A tip I've found effective is simply rolling things back with the reset pin on the router.

If it worked when you originally bought it, then it should (In theory) work when you reset it.

Another thing to consider is torrent software.  We have had reports of torrent clients, particularly Utorrent conflicting with Call of Duty titles.

If you have any torrent software that is running on the PC/laptop then ensure it is disabled.
