When downloading a game from the PlayStation store, you will need to make sure that the console is activated under your account in order to play the game.

1) Ensure you are signed into the PlayStation 3 under your account and navigate to 'PlayStation Network' icon on the XMB.

2) Under this icon look for the option for 'Account Management' and press X.

3) In the sub menu, look for the option for ' System Activation' and press X again.

4) You will be prompted to select either PS3 System or PSP System.

5) If you select the PS3 System, you will have the option of Game or Video (select the Game option).

6) You will then have the option to Activate or Deactivate to use the system under your user.

(NB: You can currently activate two PlayStation 3 systems using your Online ID and you can deactivate consoles via the PC by signing into the Sony Entertainment Network.)
