Re: Your Guide To Putting Your PS3 Into a DMZ

NAT type 2 is what you should get if your DMZ is working :smileyhappy:

(usually)

NAT come in 3 types:

NAT1 - you are connected DIRECTLY to your ISP, usually by the PS3 plugging into a socket in the wall. This is unusual in the UK, but common in other countries.
NAT2 - you are connected via a modem and / or router (often modem / router is built into one box)
NAT3 - you are connected via a modem / router, but with limited connectivity (firewall is blocking some traffic)

So, if you are connecting via modem/router, and getting NAT 2, you are fine :smileyhappy:

no no-one else can use the same INTERNET IP as you..

LOADS of people can be using the same internAL IP (usually the one starting 192.168.), but that doesn't matter in the slightest :smileyhappy:

Putting your PS3 into the DMZ will NOT allow people to steal your account (although putting your PC into a DMZ is definitely not recommended!)

Re: Your Guide To Putting Your PS3 Into a DMZ

Plz be desperated to play PES 11 ONLINE.

Im living in Victoria Aus bought game via UK ebay, using Bekin F5D8636-4 v1 (01)

I tried open DMZ and get NAT type 2(wireless) as well but I can only play in quick ranking match

I still got this message "Due to the restrictions placed on your connection by networking devices you are using, you can only play 1 vs 1 (ranked match) in quick match. This issue may be solved by conecting your hardwar directly to the internet or by configuring your networking device such as your router.Apply DMZ Port mapping. NAT Table configurations and othr router settings to your PS3 system"

plz help me to play ML online and match lobby wid my friends ,

Any feedback much appreciated
