every time I try to load up a game on the PS3 I get signed out of PSN and I get the error message 80028ED6. any help please?

this is happening to quite alot of people, an explanation is that there may be a game update for that game of your but the update has been skipped and so therefore gives you that error. however there isnt any resolutions that i know about. just keep checking back on the game or try again tomoro is my tip, hope it helps

for the past three days I'm getting the error on Red Dead Redemption, Aassassin Creed Brotherhood Beta and on Playstation home.

several people are saying it could be related to TPG. google it and people give explanations. one person said you may have to get better net.

The error code 80028ED6 most likely indicates an issue connecting to the patch server

When an online game title is booted, the PlayStation 3 connects to the patch server and sees if a new patch for the title has been released. If the connection fails you will be signed out from the PlayStation Network.

If this occurs we would advise:

•  Exit and attempt to load the online title again. 

•  If the online title does not launch, try connecting at a later time.

It sounds like a network issue with the servers potentially, so ensure you are not connecting during a maintenance, and try at a different time.
