still no improvement... been able to sign in after a few attempts after starting up the system. works fine for an hour or so and then a message appears in the top right corner of the screen:

"an error has occured. you've been sign out of playstation network (80710092)"

this is happening for a week now... getting frustrated now.

Yeah its certainly temperamental with different accounts. My main account is ok, but when i tried to use my ''other'' account it was harder to sign into.

Oh well I'm sure Sony are doing their best, it can't be easy to pinpoint the problem so all we can do is be patient.

Yeah, that sited is a just a bit bloody useless, click on 'News' and guess what? Not one word on either the ongoing issues or even todays ANNOUNCED outage!

I got the same error when I was trying to redeem the 3 free games.  Now my basket is empty and I can't redeem the 3 games!  Not a happy chap

Is there an email address or link I can go to to get it reset?

error 80710D36 in my case.yesterday i can't login into ps store but today this error for downloading games (concrete ps3 games) - ps store is running.

UPDATED: I see error 80710D36 randomly in PS Store. Sometimes I can open category, sometimes error - in the same category.

Typical. It's been literally 2 months since I last turned my PS3 on because I play on the 360 more. I had heard about all the troubles the network was having so I just didn't bother logging on until it had blown over. So I long on and get a bunch of DNS crap, because I've changed my ISP since the last time I used it. So get that sorted, then spend ages downloading an update only for it to fail mid way, then ages again to get the update. Now I go to play somt GT5 prologue and it tells me to log in. I go to log in and I get this error. Nice one Sony. I can't play a game I own because of your network. What happens in a few years time when PSN is decomissioned? I keep all my consoles and it's nice knowing that I can play my SNES whenever. Can't say the same for the PS3
