Re: Need Help DNS Error 80710102

Hello THE-SHARK_III

This error code is is displayed when there is a connection time out when the playstation 3 attempts to connect to your ISP's Domain Name Server (DNS). In order to resolve this issue please check the following:

• Do you have a working internet connection (can you connect successfully to the internet using a PC)?]

• Have you reconfigured your network settings (deleted existing settings and created a new set?)

• Does your ISP prohibit access to secure pages as a default setting?

• Within [Network Settings], is the Primary DNS being detected?

If the Primary DNS is displayed as 0.0.0.0 or is blank, the DNS is not being detected automatically. If this is the case please contact your ISP and ask for their DNS address. Once you have this, you should then manually input the address into your network settings.

If you are still unable to connect to the PlayStation Network after attempting the above solution, please contact PlayStation Support for further assistance.
