ok, so I need help on how to connect a telstra 3g modem, the "telsra mobile broadband turbo 7 modem" to be exact. Ive got it hooked up to my laptop, now how do I get the internet to go through my laptop and to my ps3 via a network cable so i can connect to the psn?

Opidoopi I am not sure if your aware but the Playstation 3 doesnt support the 3G network. And for those who have gotten it working have usually got several degress in I.T. Also if they do get it connected would proberbly find that they get constant disconnections.

Ive been using a wireless USB modem and Dlink wireless 3G router for ages now and disconnections are very rare.

Checkout the wireless USB modem thread. It has info on the 2 options available.....3G router or using a crossover cable to connect directly from your PC/laptop, using there network card
