Well i recently created a new PSN account to redeem a few USA psn cards which i purchased online. This is because USA store is cheaper than the EU store and i wanted to buy a BF3 server. Well i purchased this server which cost 65$ so i had another 15$ left. Note ive never used this account nor played a game or done anything apart from buy 1 thing yet i try to login today to buy walking dead episode 2 but it says its banned? How do i find out why its banned and ***** is happening. I am not phoning up SONY cause they rip you off with phone calls and always get sent to a indian person who you cannot understand for *****. I want a answer as i am losing 15$ out of this account for no reason. Please help me thanks

Making accounts for other regions is against the T&C. If you want another reason PM a Mod. They are the people whos' posts are surrounded in blue

well sorry for me not knowing that but surely i should'nt get banned cause i made an account on a different region. I chose USA cause its cheaper to buy products on the PS store through USA accounts. It aint my fault Sony are Biased to us european countries and give products to the USA store discounts. never the less it had money in the account and they banned it. So in my eyes they owe me $15

It is against the terms and conditions of the Sony network to create an account with falsified information that;s why it is banned

well thats a bit rich when there are soooo many accounts through different regions. I was not aware of this and will not do it again but i still had 15$ left in the account which i purchased some PSN cards. I should be allowed that account unbanned to spend it

As mentioned before, setting up an is against the terms and conditions. The issue is that the address on the account should be legitimate and if possible tied to the billing address in that country for security. Furthermore when setting up the account you would have to falsify this address as well which is not advised.

There are other implcations regarding content released and compatibility that also differ from region to region which causes issues down the line.

However I am not sure exactly the reason the account is banned? As the US is a distinct territory from Europe, only the American support team would be able to help here so this would be the best place to query. You can perhaps check via the US PlayStation support site for further help, (incidentally if the email was put on the account correctly you get an email confirming the reason for the ban). It may be that the ban is only temporary, but even so you may not be able to continue to use the account given the false information on there.

thanks for the reply but still it had money in the account and i already have an account created in the US which isnt banned. I just find it a bit weird. Its only cause UK psn cards on the site i was purchasing were out of stock so i bought the USA 1s to buy the server i wanted. Its just very weird that it happens to 1 account and not the other
