Hi there I just brought Play Station Network PSN card from ***** Smith, when I enter my code number exactly what its got on the receipt (card) then press the continue button this is what it say, I have entered it three to four times, still comes up to the statement below.

 

The code that you have entered may not be correct or no longer be valid.

Are you doing it in capitals? the code is case sensitive.

Hey, does the region of the card match the region of your account? PSN cards are region locked.

 

If that's not the problem, it's the retailers reponsibility so you'll need to take the card back to them and ask for a replacement. If they refuse to you'll need to contact Sony Tech Support:

by ***** Smith, I assume you mean WHSmith, and not John Smith, the scary guy that sits on street corners. If it's the latter, call the police. :smileywink:

 

 If the code won't work, check the reciept doesn't say transaction cancelled on it, and that the code is formatted correctly (TH1S-15AC-0D31). Make sure you're using a UK PSN account and the card is a £ value, assuming your in the UK. Otherwise go back and get a refund.

 

 I wouldn't buy from them again if you're getting problems like this. :smileysad:

I don't think it matters whether or not you type it in one go or put the slashes in. I normally use Account Management to redeem codes as it divides it into three parts :smileywink:
