I think this is totally ridiculous. I don't want to create a completely new ID and get all my trophies again. I'm extremely disappointed you guys can't do this since the rival company actually can (it's a simple process on their website too!).

I'm actually scared to use my Uncharted 3 Online Pass, don't want it to go to waste...

Please Please Please Sony Sort out this problem...

We've had a PS3 in our house since the very start... My sons was not old enough to make own accounts, So they both have sub accounts....Now the C.O.D MW3 is out with facebook link is out... Because they are both sub accounts the cannot link up on facebook.. Please can you atleast link facebook with sub accounts with facebook????

Well this really ***** me off i just bought the elite for mw3... im a sub-account and my brothers is the main. of course my brother forgot his password for the email he used for the account so i cant set the elite up,what a waste of money. ***** brothers

About nearly 3 years ago when I first bought my PS3, I had problems playing Resistance 2 through PSN because my account is a sub-account. I contacted Sony and guess what? They simply replied "Noted, you can create a new account". This just shows how bad their customer service is.

3 years down the road and I'm still facing this problem, and I really doubt Sony is even listening. If this problem is not solved, there is no point in getting a PS Vita with all the restrictions.

Guys I messaged Playstation (didn't any of you think to do this?  They have a reply within 8 hours policy) about my son playing Uncharted online as he is on a sub account.

The reply I got was that it does not matter about Sub Account or Master Account or Parental controls, IT'S YOUR AGE!!!

When your acount was set up you input your date of birth, the games read this and disable as needed.

What they told me was Uncharted is rated 'Teen' and because my sons account reads he is not then online is disabled.

yeah i find out this today that i cant change my account 2 a master cuz i turned 18 yesterday it really sucks sony should update this soon i hope cuz i cant download few things or buy or subscribe to palystation plus...... Sony update sub accounts to Master accounts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have 21 platinums on my sub-account so there is absolutely no chance I'm creating a new account! I'm gutted that I can not get the DLC for games I buy & therefore I'm being restricted as to what I can do on PSN aswell! Also my 'little Brother!!' is the master account holder so I fall out with him & he could delete my account ***** :@ PSN seriously need to sort this out :l

Just to let you know that my friend and I were talking about this issue and Sony didn't even help just to consider this feature for Sub-Account for 18 year old ++. Therefore, we had made an agreement to sign this petition. However, he's an Xbox person and he wouldn't like to get kicked around on this forum. So, he asked me to sign for him.
