I need to pick your brains.... I get two different error messages the first is 80710B23 & the second is 80710704. I am told that my username (email address) or P/W is incorrect for PSN . I have used the same username and P/W on my PC with no problems . I have disabled media servers I have changed the MTU. I am using bigpond wireless the signal is good. This only happened on Friday night when I updated to 3.30 I have only been playing mw2 it worked fine all w/end, & now the wifi light stays on constantly. I also tried my back-up ps3 (which is a fat 60 & I get the same thing)
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong....

I have a mate who also has Bigpond and gets the 80710B23 error. He has the Thompson modem/router they give out. When he gets that error all he does is restart his modem until his internet light comes back on then restarts his playstation. After that he is able to log in without a problem.
Not sure what is happening with your signin ID or password being wrong through, I would probably try resetting it through the forgot your password area on the bottom of the screen when you try to sign in.
If you are still having problems after that, call the guys at the Sony call centre and they might have to help you further.
