Hi guys,

i just wanted to confirm that the PSN is at the moment only partially available.

Due to this, following problems may occur:

• trouble logging into PSN (on blog, mobile app, forums)

• not able to purchase content (e.g. FIFA Ultimate Team)

• connectivity issues when trying to download content from the store

We will post an update on this as soon as we receive one.

Does this also include signing into PSN with my PS3 as that has not worked since the maintainence started. Any ETA on when we are likely to see normal service resume?

And the TextChat that disconnects every time you want to check it again? (Not only me, but everyone in chat had that problem). 

Games that disconnect a lot while they almost never did in the week before the update?

I understand the PSN is huge but SCEE just can't seem to perform maintenance correctly. You don't see the US having these issues after the far too frequent network downtime the PSN has.

I have a sneaky feeling Sony might have found something and extended the downtime (it does say that there might be down longer for testing) but as we know Sony needs to give us reasons why it is taking longer than normal. any more news please

Does this go for the maps for mw3 because ive down loaded them 3 times and its still wont let me on the new maps

a quick final update: the PSN has been restored to 100% since this morning.

I still can't sign into PSN with my PS3 and when I run through setup it will not pick up an ip address, any ideas why?

I'm still not able to sign in using the Android app or on the MyPSN site.

We still have problems with disconnecting a lot from the textchat. Already tried to make a new one, but that doesn't help. We disconnect from chat and when trying to enter it again it takes a long time and gives an error afterwards. You need a few tries to get in again and after seconds your out again. It went better after 23h (gmt+1) but it was not as good as before maintenance! And it's not only me, all of the people in the group have the same problem. Quite often we get all kicked at the same time.
