Hey guys,

My PlayStation Network account signs out randomly this has just started accouring within the past 2 days. I have changed my password, checked the system update to make sure of any updates...even tho theres none. and it still signs me out.

Posting an email address into a public forum is a guaranteed way of attracting spam and other attacks, including identity theft. It is not a good idea.

As for your problem: Have you considered that it might be further up the chain, as in your ISP? If you're not losing your entire Internet connection when these network signouts occur, then perhaps they are filtering certain traffic, or doing traffic shaping? I'd recommend calling them and asking.

and its mainly as soon as i sign in after like 5 minutes it signs itself out again...then i have to turn my ps3 off and back on again...to be able to sign in again.

Oh, and another thing I should have asked: Is this a wired connection to your modem/router, or wireless?

One thing you can try is to Powercycle the modem, (unplug it from the wall and leave it for 10 seconds & plug it back in)

Another thing that you can do is turn off the Media Server ( Settings > Network Settings > Media Server to Disable)

As Renze said though for us to help we would need more specific details about your connection like:

- Wired or Wireless
- Modem Type / Router Type
- ISP

Are you getting any error codes / messages when this occurs?

Can you try another PSN account on the same console, or your account on another console to test against?

hey man atm....i Disabled the MS and it seems to be holding up... hasnt signed out yet...will keep you in touch if it fails again.
