Need help with incorrect billing - Sony hasn't answered in two weeks!!!

Hi there!

 

I got this offer from sony (newsletter) that it was time to renew my PSN plus subscription which I gladly accepted. The offer was to buy 12 months and get 3 extra months for free.

I renewed my subscription in time but when I checked, I had got only 12 months.

Investigating further I also noticed that I had not received the extra month for the PSN outage.

 

I sent an email to sony customer service in Sweden on August 3d (the same day I noticed the error).

I received no reply - not even the usual (we will get back to you...)

I sent a reminder email on the 8th - still no reply.

On the 11th of August, I forwarded my email to the UK customer service since I get the feeling they might be more responsive.

Wow - this time I got an auto-reply saying they would get back to me within 24 hours.

It's the 16th now and I have still not gotten a reply from anyone?

 

Does anyone know how to proceed with this?

I honestly cannot believe that Sony would treat their customers this way!

Would appreciate any feedback from people who have had similar problems.

I am sorry to hear about your situation. Unfortunately I am not in any way connected with Sony so I cannot look into your situation. But if I were in your situation I would try to

 

1. Resend the e-mail to support again (are you using the e-mail supplied at this link?)

 

2. Send IzzyJ a private message here on the forum, by clicking here, since she is the Community Team Leader and might know why support is not getting back to you.

 

Then I would give both IzzyJ and Support a couple of days to get back to you. If you do not hear anything from either of them by the end of the week, then I would suggest you write here again.

Hi,

Yes, customer service should come back to you. I know they are quite busy at the moment with Gamescom, but yeah - if you don't hear anything in the next few days, write again. Or contact me - and I will see if I can find out.

I have resent the email to customer service and will get back to you if I haven't received an answer by friday night!

Ni luck, no response.

Well actually the UK guys were kind enough to answer my email with a referral to the swedish email adress so that's an indication that they at least read their e-mails.

 

As for the swedish support / service - no answer!

 

Could you be so kind to investigate the matter for me? Please tell me if you need me to send you the email as well or if you need any other info from me!

 

Again - thanks for your support and help!
