25 MILHÕES JÁ JOGAM NA PSN 

De acordo com o blog Kotaku, o serviço da PlayStation 3, a PlayStation Network, atingiu os 25 milhões de membros registados nesta semana. No entanto, a mesma fonte alerta ainda para o facto de tal não significar que se tratem de 25 milhões de membros únicos, uma vez que existem pessoas que fazem múltiplas contas. É avançado, também pelo Kotaku, que existem de 12 a 15 milhões de membros únicos.

Outra dado estatístico revela que já foram efectuados mais de 500 milhões de downloads desde o lançamento da PSN, com 2.000 jogos, 1.900 filmes e 9.000 episódios de televisão.

NOVOS DETALHES DE SUPER STARDUST HD 

In an online letter posted on the US' PlayStation Blog, it has been revealed that the creators of Super Stardust HD will be making an new game which will be exclusive to the PlayStation Network . Petteri Putkonen, one of the developers from Housemarque who created Super Stardust HD wrote on the PlayStation blog saying:

"We're currently busy trying to outdo ourselves with our next PSN exclusive game that's in development at the moment. We'd love to tell you more about it but will have to wait a little bit longer bfore we can reveal any details. At the moment, all we can say is we're confident it'll be worth your wait."

So will it be worth the wait? We hope so as SSHD was a success so we hope they do take enough time to get it just right. In celebration of Super Stardust HD's second anniversary, the game has been put back up on the front of the PlayStation Store.

EXPANSÃO DA PLAYSTATION NETWORK A CAMINHO 

Segundo a Fortune, uma expansão da PlayStation Network poderá estar a caminho e será já na Primavera de 2010.

Howard Stringer, CEO da Sony, disse que esta expansão irá juntar vários produtos. A PS3, PSP, televisores e outros aparelhos estarão interligados através da Playstation Network. Ele ainda refere que a companhia vai fazer novas aquisições para acelerar o processo.

O patrão da PlayStation, Kaz Hirai, disse que esta "nova" PSN está prevista para a Primavera de 2010 e que falta apenas decidir como será o seu aspecto nos diversos aparelhos.

"Neste momento temos que decidir qual será o aspecto do serviço em cada aparelho, e delinear um plano para a sua implementação. É como planear uma cidade, e temos que começar pelas pequenas coisas. Não necessitamos de construir Nova Iorque da noite para o dia."

Hirai ainda disse que este novo serviço vai facilitar muitas coisas, tais como, colocar imagens numa TV, visualizar e editar vídeos, e partilhar com os amigos.

CAPCOM ADIA LANÇAMENTO DE "MARVEL VS CAPCOM 2"

Marvel vs. Capcom 2 não irá chegar à Playstation Store no final deste mês mas sim do proximo.

"MvC2 não irá sair no dia 29 de Junho, desculpem rapazes. Não sabemos bem de onde veio este rumor, mas podemos dizer que o jogo será lançado no final de Julho" disse a Capcom através do Twitter.
