Re: Cloud Saves.

Any console that you have your account on, and Cloud Saves enabled, will upload from each system - can then be downloaded to any other console.

Does that answer your question? :smileyhappy:

2) The patches that PS+ auto-downloads seem to be for EVERY game you've ever played, irrespective of whether you still own it. I assume it uses trophy information to do this, as it downloaded Lego Harry Potter patches, and I've not played that game for ages - far before I registered for PS+.
Surely a similar tickbox system as it uses for auto-upload of gamesave info and a prompt when the disc was first inserted would be far more flexible.
Also, if this played game list is stored somewhere (as it obviously is), then access to this listing to enable/disable auto features would be a nice addition.

This is available to you already.

If you've got a game you no longer play, and have no intention of playing it again, just delete the game and and saved data from your console.

It will not download any updates if there is no data for it on the console.

You can find the items under Game -> Game Data Utility  & Saved Data Utility - press 'triangle' and Delete on relevant content.

In regards to needing to have auto-sign in and your password saved, unfortunately there's no other way around this as it does need to authenticate to perform all the tasks associated.

The Lego Harry Potter had no data remaining on my PS3 (either of them), either saves or patch data, since I clean out all data when I've finished a game, which is why I was a bit suprised when it redownloaded the patch.

I shall put this down to an over-eager PS+ elf, and see what happens in the future.

Re: Playstation Plus Ideas.

ive never downloaded 1 hour free trials from ps plus but does the timer start counting from when you download it? i thought it would be once installed or played since its the game with the timebomb not ps store but if its the store then maybe they should concider fixing that since i have the fastest download speed in Aus and it takes a bit to download especially if the game is at least 4gb plus :/

Re: Playstation Plus Ideas.

it's once you've installed it that it begins counting down.
