Celebrate your success thread / Look out for you pals

31 Replies 311 Views Created 29-04-2012

I have been rather let down recently by Online community and forums judging people before they know anything about them. People being subjected to Endless trolling when all they are trying to do is help or have a joke ( without people getting all worked out about things ) sometime there are just people that cross the line.

These days I don't see enough people looking out for each other and watching each others backs,  (which upsets me tbh.) Not enough achievements and ideas are celebrated which I think my is a shame really.

As a Job I look after students in a college and once you get to know these people you find out wow they have actually done some pretty amazing things?

Within this thread I think it would be great if people could talk about there success , if the have achieved something and how ? (share ideas and exsperience's ) ....It's not to gloat...  e.g passed my driveing test, A levels ...

or ive just bought a ps3 for £50 here's where i got it !!!

or I justed booked tickets to cream fields .....anyone else going

It's good that you didn't shelve the project half way through.

Success is a hard thing to measure.

I have never failed a test, I have a degree, I have been educated to the highest levels and thought it was pretty easy getting distinctions all the way. Passed my driving test first time with only one minor error. I was in the army and was trained to the highest levels blowing my instructors out of the water all along the way with they called a natural illogical logic for tactics, they couldnt figure out how I did it without them telling me. I have lived on my own in a country I cant speak the language, I learnt a language through talking to people on the street..

I think the biggest success I had was when I lived with a such a pretty girl, that was so crazy in the good way, and I remember getting up at 6am to go clean public toilets, shop floors, offices, getting home and waiting for her to eat, and being so broke we had no money and seeing her face light up when I got my pay and gave it all to her like it was nothing to me and her being so happy that she could buy things.

So i guess my biggest success was grafting out a life as a failure in a place I didnt know.
