I change my statement about floods. We have a few small ones around my local estate. The green/field is flooded, and so is the sides of the road that run along by it.

i left my bath running too long, could also be the reason. do the flooded areas have warm water with lots of soothing oils in them with overflowing fluffy bubbles?

I'll have Laras come round with his clipboard later to evaluate the situation and produce a comprehensive risk analysis.

 

Assuming he isn't too busy Googling cloud formations and tracking the Gulf Stream on a wall chart.

I believe that the amateur meteorologist typically works alone.

 

I doubt that many of the professional ones socialise much with other people either.
