It will be great when they look at all of our internet browsing habits and realize it's all just pictures and videos of p*bleep*y*.

:Stupid:

They've been doing this for years, ever since they released the internet for public use.

No ISP in europe can be forced to install monitoring on their customers if they dont want to, its a breech of human rights.

Any conviction in Europe based on warrantless invasion of privacy will be overturned, just take it to the european high court of human rights.

If your isp does install the monitoring, then they did it cause they wanted to, not because they were forced to, they dont have to.

But how do you find out if your ISP is watching you? They're gonna outright deny it if you said "Do you watch and monitor your users into what they do on the internet?

That's the point, it's never stopped them before, otherwise people wouldn't get prosecuted for piracy. It's very rare, but it happens.

Nothing can stop them, but if they catch a terrorist this way the EU will tell them to let them go. Just like the EU told them not to deport the cleric terrorist and they didnt.

So yeah, the EU has stopped them before, plenty of times.

Sure they might still do it under the radar, but if a whole trial hinges on you being monitored without a warrant, then you will be let go. It's easy to get a warrant.

They dont really scan the internet for anything other than public posts, and rely a lot on reports from people.

Although interestingly there is a computer being built that can store and process double the internets daily bandwidth per day.

If you ignored all the porn and junk emails it would probably only be a few gigabytes.

pretty sure they dont monitor MVPs on forums though, thats, like, one of the rules. we paid them off, i mean, donated them off. apart from chris, they should keep all eyes on him for sure.
