Welcome to the PC Gaming Thread!

Now I know there is a PS3 discussion thread and an Xbox 360 discussion thread.

So thought it was about time us PC gamers had an area to talk about...

  • Upcoming Games
  • Latest Releases
  • Modding
  • Favourite Games
  • Gaming set up
  • How you feel as a PC gamer.

If you ever need advice on any of the above then this should be your first stop for all your PC gaming needs.

So go ahead and get chatting!

If any of you guys like me and not played Alan Wake yet, Go and get it from Steam for 50% off. What a superb game it is.

Alan Wake is really good, of all the games where i've heard 'crazy people' talk, nothing has sounded as good and creepy like when I heard 'zombie' Ducky.

Tempting, but I'll hold off to see if it appears in the Steam sale.

Just finished this great little game from Amanita Design (created Machinarium which I really liked) called Botanicula. Worth playing with headphones on as there are some really cool sounds to hear from all the strange little creatures you encounter!

Anyone else got into building maps on Portal 2 with the new update?

Here's two of mine that I made testing out the editor -

Not very difficult, but good I think for a beginner. The second one certainly had my friend for a short while, and he's a bawse at Portal.

Sorry for the double post :(

After playing AC2 on the PC I have come to the conclusion that I need a Controller. Is there any controller in particular that you would recommend or would one of these do? Keeping in mind that I don't want to spend too much on a controller. http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/p/xbox-360-wireless-controller-for-windows/JR9-00011

I'd recommended the 360 controller.

Never had a problem with it and most games tend to support it with no problems.
