That doesnt look great if im honest

nah im not, i wasn't aiming for the total leopard look either, only the gtk theme cause i wanted the brushed metal look then the dock and icons and cursor + the wallpaper because it looks nice, its only supposed to have a leopard feel to it, not be a perfect imatation

I just dont like your desktops as they're cluttered, very clutered.

yeah, reason for that is i like clutter, after spending ages using a minimalist gentoo desktop i decided to try ubuntu and quickly proceeded to clutter it as much as i can :P, i do go through minimalist phases though but also go through the clutter phase too on and off, i wonder if anyone else likes clutter, might just be me though :P, i should try and work on balancing clutter and cleanliness though
