Getting the same here at the moment. No solution as yet - will try again later today.
Guys we are aware of an issue at the moment and we are looking into it and at this stage seems intermitted, so keep trying and we will try and keep you posted and up to date as we get the information.
I am getting the same error(503).
I bought the 'Sam & Max: Beyond Time & Space' and all episodes download just fine except for the very first episode(Ice Station Santa) which is actually a demo you have to unlock, using the activation key you are given. Whenever I try to download the Ice Station Santa episode i get the 'HTTP Status Code: 503' error.
What should I do?
If anyone one of you know how to resolve this problem, please let me know.
Hi there se3doun,
I'm not sure what troubleshooting you may have tried, but I'll give you a few things to test.
If you've been getting the exact same issue for 6 months, then it's likely to be something local.
Firstly, power cycle: Turn off your modem and PS3 for a good 5 minutes.
Turn on your modem/router first, and wait until it's booted up completely.
Then then on your PS3.
Go through Settings -> System Settings -> Restore Default Settings -> This will clear any and all settings on your PS3, leaving any data intact.
After you've correctly set up your PS3 / Network Connection, try again.
Make sure you have sufficient WiFi connection (if applicable) This should be at least 75% signal strength, and consistent.
We recommend using a landline based Internet service (ADSL or Cable etc) If you are using 3G / 4G, you may experience issues due to the nature of those types of services.
If you haven't already, try with another Internet provider, if possible obviously.
If you're still experiencing issues, I'd then suggest calling your local PlayStation Support Centre.
Phone numbers can be found in the PS3 manual, and any game manual.
