I think I have found a solution! First thing make sure you PSP is updated with the lastest version. Secondly if you using media go, make sure you have the latest version.

Now the main thing is that you must activate/ register you PSP to your account. You can do this by logging in, and then going to MY ACCOUNT. After that you should that you can add a PSP, PS2 and PS3 to your account.

This is what I did and it worked!!

Good luck:Thumbs:

Re: Error message (0x80029564)

I am getting the same message, too.  I successfully transferred Final Fantasy VII, Parasite Eve, and Parasite Eve II to my PsP.  But I'm trying to put Final Fantasy VIII and Final Fantasy IX onto it, as well, but they won't transfer.

The error says:

"Error: an error occurred in the install operation.

(80029564)

Time: 12/12/2011 4:53:15 PM

Code: 0x80029563"

This is getting annoying.

Re: Error message (0x80029564)

Hi ChevronVIILocked,

80029564 - This indicates potentially corrupt data.

You say you're transferring the data, is this from a PS3 or PC?

We would suggest to delete the copies of these games you have, and try redownloading them from the store, or a backup if available.
