Hope someone can help. I just purchased a PSP go off a friend of mine which already had the 10 free games offer downloaded on it. (under his account obviously).
Anyway, so me being pretty green with it all, i deleted his account and started my own account and internet connection, etc. But then i tried to play the games that are on the hard drive but it says i can't access as they are on another account. Even though they are on the hard drive and i can see them.
Is there a way around this other than feeding in my mates details to play them?
Please help.

Games are attached on per account basis meaning there is no way for the games to be transferred. So no without your friends account you will not have access to those games, sorry!

There are two solutions to this.
The 10 free games offer is still available, so you haven't lost out.
1. get the sign in details from your friend and use his account on your PSP. Not recommended as he may not like it.
2. Create/use your own account. The best way.
As a precaution: Firstly get your friend to sign in on his account on your PSP, under account options get him to de-register the device. This should ensure it's all clean.
Back up the data on a PC (for the games and saves you can use Media Go), and format the memory stick, lastly reset your settings. (make sure you delete the promotional theme too)
This should clean out the PSPGo and make it all new.
Now Name your system, and connect it to the net. Create a new PSN account under your name (If you don't have one already) log into the PSN store and get the promotion theme.
Since your PSN account hasn't downloaded the theme before, and your using a PSPGo, it should all register correctly. Make sure your eMail address is valid, and within a week you'll have a promotional code sent out to you.
Enter the code to redeem the offer ![]()
Now, if you have the Games backed up on Media Go, you don't need to re-download them. You can just copy them back onto your system, and Media Go will register them for you.
Easy.
