Don't think it will ever happen... sorry... too many piracy and illegal distribution issues at stake..

That's what I'm beginning to think....... what a shame that sony isn't sowing any loyalty to its loyal costumers

Well, the PSP2GO was never released for owners of UMDs... it isn't a replacement for the 2000, and it was made quite clear that it was a digital distribution model.... so I don't see how Sony are failing their customers on that front..
Anyone who bought one with the idea that they would be able to convert their UMDs, buy an external drive to play them, or get some digital trade back scheme for the UMDs they owned was frankly silly... dare I say it, stupid even.
That said, it is disappointing the lack of content digitally available for download on the PSP systems... A decent back catalogue should have been available at release, and every game now released should be on both formats.... For that reason I think the GO is a bit of a failed experiment... The idea was there though.

When the PSPgo launched, I was as dissappointed as the next gamer that no technical solution was produced for those with a library of UMD games who wanted to move on up to the PSPgo.
Still, no one forced my hand and made me upgrade to the PSPgo.
I made the decision to upgrade to the PSPgo, and while Sony may not have produced a technical solution, it has to be said that Son'y marketing department certainly sweetened the deal for all of the loyal early adopters.
With my initial PSPgo purchase I obtained digital download versions of Gran Turismo, Resistance Retribution, and both PSP Syphon Filter Games, and then at Christmas time Sony through in another offer and I picked up Assasin's Creed. Thank you Sony...and feel free to keep the rewards flowing.
Long story short, I can't see Sony offering a solution now. Sure they might bring a successor to the market that offers the best of the PSP3000 and the PSPgo, but really if that's your idea of a dream PSP just go out today and buy a PSP3000 and a 16 GB memory stick and save yourself a whole lot of money.
