To start, I'm really sorry if this is the wrong spot, but I couldn't find a support forum.

I updated this weekend to 6.00 firmware on my PSP (I use it infrequently, only on the holidays.)

Before the update, on 4.something firmware all my demo's worked perfectly. however, now that i'm at 6.00 some don't.

Syphon filter, medal o' honour heroes and a couple o' others don't load at all, they just sit at a black screen forever.

Some, like Toca Race driver 3 demo give an error message, which i'll get for you ASAP

My question is, What is wrong? did I do something?

Or do I not get to play them now?

5.0 put the Playstation Store on the PSP. I'm assuming that because that got put up, the removed the functionality o' old demos, and force you to use ones downloaded off the Playstation Store. thar's probably naught you can do about them now, so you might as well delete them. The upside is that thar's a fair few newer demoes on the PSstore.

That's interesting, because most o' the demo's work.

also, it's a shame, because I have nearly no access to a wireless network. The only network I can use is my mum's work's, and i'm only at her work once every few months. The  wireless networkis very slow, and in 3 hours I could only download 6.00 and the demo, "Holy invasion o' privacy Badman, What did I do to deserve this?" (Ahoy, good Aye game by the way)

It would be nice if thar was a way to renew the demo's so I can still use them, or a way to download without needing a wireless internet connection.

We do have a PS Store available through PC Have you go Media GO or Media Manager for your PSP?

nope, I did get 2.0 through EB games, which didn't work on my computer (vista)

worse, my internet is throtled, so I can't get 3.0
