Hi,

I've just bought a PSP Go.  This morning it worked fine and I was able to download a couple of demos.  Tonight I'm trying to buy some games and I keep getting a couple of errors.

80551002

80551003 (The main one)

I'm connected via my home wi-fi network (which works fine for everything else).  The 80551003 error happens when either logging into the store on the PSP Go or when buying something.

The PSN Store hasn't been working properlly since yesterday, so you're experiencing precisely the same issues that the rest of us are as well, so its just a matter of holding back and waiting for Sony to sort themselves out.

On a side note, if you purchased your go after April 1st then make sure you get the 10 free games deal.

this thread was a while ago, and in the past week ive been trying to buy a game.. first i changed the credit card on my billing info, the card works i know for a fact and it says "my credit card could not be updated". So i bought a PSN card and i tried that.. i typed in the code and it says "this PSN card is good for $20" or whatever. so i clicked add to wallet funds and it takes about a minute and a half to load then i get this error code 80551003. How could this still be messed up since 11-06-2010? I just want to buy a game...

I just started getting that error code too. I'm trying to download my free games for my PSP GO but it comes up with 80551003 error code on every game. Is everyone having this problem at the moment?

Ive called sony support new zealand and they have no idea either. Tried telling me it was my connection.. after I told them I have been buying and downloading games fine for 2 days on it.

The free games was part of my reason for buying it. Prety fustrating.

You should check to see if yours is downloading, mine is working now. Not sure if it was something they fixed on their end after I called them though.

I was able to purchase demos, with my wi fi working fine. Then, I tried purchasing NFS Most Wanted, and the error code called 80551002 comes up. It even says can't add funds to the wallet. Downloading demos work finely though. Sometimes when I download them, it says connection with the server time ran out. I'm just going to call SONY and sort this problem out, no matter what. When the free games come, and it still doesn't work, SONY has to do whatever they can to fix this common problem.

It's working 4 u now? Lucky! I'm going to call them too. With so many people calling SONY about this problem, they'll soon have to start believing that something is wrong with the PSN, and not the wireless connection
