to update on an official firmware is not easy if you've got a custom firmware...
but you can update on the 3.40 OE-A and then to 3.50 M33 and then to 5.00 M33 and then install the 5.00 M33-4 update and if you've a PSP Classic (1000) the 1.50 Kernel....![]()
OR!
you downgrade your CFW to 1.50 and install the 4.05 firmware....but i have 5.00 M33-4 + 1.50 Addo
it's your decision if you want to have a official or a custom firmware...
just google for "Custom firmware" or "PSP CFW"

If I download the EBoot (3.93) form the official site and put in the GAME>UPDATE folder, run my PSP, go to GAME> Memory stick , it says "there are no games".
If I try to download I with my PSP, it says "download failed" everytime.
Any suggestions on how to update it
