Re: PSP Instructions: Updating and USB Mode

It says DADADADA not DATADATA, you have custom firmware, it won't be easy to update to official one.

[ Edited ]

to update on an official firmware is not easy if you've got a custom firmware...

but you can update on the 3.40 OE-A and then to 3.50 M33 and then to 5.00 M33 and then install the 5.00 M33-4 update and if you've a PSP Classic (1000) the 1.50 Kernel....:smileyhappy:

OR!

you downgrade your CFW to 1.50 and install the 4.05 firmware....but i have 5.00 M33-4 + 1.50 Addo

it's your decision if you want to have a official or a custom firmware...

just google for "Custom firmware" or "PSP CFW"

PSP Instructions: Updating and USB Mode and AD-Hoc Help

Hi all

i have been on my PSP alot recently, due to the PS3 dieing on me. However, i was playing GTA VCS against a friend, and we couldnt find each other, even though we were in the same room.
I knew how to fix this, but some people may not, so heres wat to do:

Problem: Cannot connect PSP via wireless to a friends PSP via AD-HOC, even though in same room

Solution: (do this on all participating PSP systems)

1) On the XMB (Xross-Media Bar, or home menu, whatever u prefer to call it), go all the way to the left to SETTINGS.
2) On SETTINGS, scroll all the way down to NETWORK SETTINGS and press "X"
3) Choose AD-HOC
4) Set each PSP to the same Channel (I recommend Automatic).
5) Now each PSP should be able to connect with each other, for sharing pictures, Game Sharing, or to vs. each other.

Re: PSP Instructions: Updating and USB Mode

You are a legend and I know it is simple but they don't mention how to do it the way you just did , anywhere on their PSP website

Re: PSP Instructions: Updating and USB Mode

If I download the EBoot (3.93) form the official site and put in the GAME>UPDATE folder, run my PSP, go to GAME> Memory stick , it says "there are no games".

If I try to download I with my PSP, it says "download failed" everytime.

Any suggestions on how to update it
