hey um i finished downloading the eboot.somethin in my pc and i made a folder called UPDATE and i put it inside and when i go to the folder in my psp it says game cannot be started..wtf does that mean??

This is a link which will take you to the site of the updates. Click the 'Download Now' button on the right to be taken to the update, but this link shouldnt fail unlike the 1st one.

I just wonder, do you have to plug in the adaptor when updating? s my friend said you can do it without it as long as you have a near full powe limit, is this true?

I think you can although I wouldn't recommend it as it's more likely to brick.

You can do it with out, but i would put it in. Just incase something does happen and your psp gets bricked Edit: Damn slow internet!
