Heya guys... I really need your help :S
I bought a PSPgo some time before Christmas 2009. Now, it had the exact same problem, I sent it to Sony and they gave me a new one in May last year. The problem was this; no matter what I did, it wouldn't charge at all. I tried through USB on a PC, on my PS3, and I also tried through AC. Nothing happens... I even used the PSPgo cradle and hooked it up to a PSP1000 charger, nothing happened at all.
The PSP that Sony sent me has done this exact same thing yesterday.. Is there anything I should try, though I think I've tried everything? Do you think Sony will repair/replace for a fee? I'm quite fond of the Go...
Thank you for even reading this :)

Best to give us a call to see what we can do.
You can't really do anything else about it cuz the battery is sealed inside the PSPGo's and best not opening it cuz it will void and warranty the console might have.
