Problem with PSP

Please help!

 

I placed a MP4 video file on my daughters PSP Memory Card, played it for about 10 seconds, then PSP has completly stopped working.  Have tried battery in sons PSP,OK. Any ideas why this happened and how I can fix??   Daughter very upset but was only trying to help!!

I don't know much about psp software and hardware.(Im more ps3,ps2) I think if you want to get this fixed you will have to phone sony. UK- 08705 99 88 77
