AMY Patch Improvements

[ Edited ]

Hi everyone,

As some of you may know that the game AMY wasn't particuarly well received by you guys and Fski done his best to review the game despite all it's faults he came across.

Well we have just got word from the developers that they have announced they have released a patch for the game with some improvements.

- the last checkpoint you reach is now saved (instead of going back to the beginning of the chapter)
- the syringes remain in the inventory after a checkpoint is reached
- Amy's Powers remain available after a checkpoint is reached
- the Combat camera has been removed
- most sequences can now be skipped
- the in-game brightness has been improved

Overall, with all the test we carried with players who liked the game as it was and players who really didn't, the update seems to work quite well.

Thanks a lot for your patience.

So if any of you have the game already, let us know what the game is like after these improvements.

Funny, I've just updated this game as I see on facebook earlier they had released a patch and I need something else to play now I've finished Binary Domain, and Peace Walker is nearing the end..

I just loaded the game up but I'm struggling to get into the mood to play it like I did shortly after I started it after I won it on here.

I'll see over the weekend if I start a new game as I was on chapter 2 (hard) before. So if I start on again on medium I might enjoy it that bit more as well

Re: AMY Patch Improvements

well i was half  way thru my playthrough on hard before the patch arrived, but i downloaded it & managed to complete the game to 100%(only a hard playthrough was needed),& to be perfectly honest the only thing i noticed as an improvement was the checkpoint save system, everything else seemed the same, the camera angles in the fight scenes were & still are pretty bad tbh ,so i dont know what `taken out the combat camera` has really done,i never had an issue with the brightness,so that was left as it was,& in all fairness it is probably meant to be played in dimly lit environments, too much brightness would make it kinda easy to play & probably spoil the atmosphere.

i`m just happy to have finished the game tbh
