I want to buy the original Spyro games on the PSN Store but they don't have them on the one in the UK. I have an American account  and I thought I could buy a £20 card here and hope to be able to put it in my American account. I was just wondering if this would actually work and so I don't waste £20

UK PSN cards will not work with non-UK PSN accounts. And for the record, the creation and use of PSN accounts outside your home region is against the PSN T&Cs, and discussions on the creation and use of such accounts aren't allowed here on the forums.
