I have just paid and downloaded 2 of the apparent Buzz Junior Full Games, and was very disappointed when I played them and found only 5 mini games out of the 25 that are found on the PS2 version. Nowhere in the item description on the Playstation Store did it say it only included 5 mini games. I feel that including (Full Game) in the title is very misleading to anyone who has played the PS2 version and feel I have wasted £8 on games that aren't what I paid for. How many other games on the Playstation Store are named as full games but actually aren't. It's made me think twice about buying anymore games from the Playstation Store.

I'm curious to know which ones you downloaded. I noticed that Jungle Party was a mere fraction of the PS2 version - it was clear from the description - but are the other games less obviously cut-down versions of the PS2 versions?

I suspect in both our cases it was more "download first - read descriptions later" ![]()
Another thing I have since learnt to do several times over before buying anything off the PSN.
I'm not blaming the bad description, I'm quite sure it's all there in black and white if you actually read it. It's just that it's slightly misleading if you're excited about the prospect of getting the game.
So yeah, I'm sure the description detailed it fine and I'm not going to claim it was mis-sold or I was ripped off deliberately - it was my own fault completely. I accept that. It was just such a real shame, and I'm still saddened by the fact it's just not the whole games, as they were so good - it's just disappointment ![]()

I downloaded the Monkey game first and did not read the description as I just expected it to be the full game, I had no played the monkey one before so after playing it I wasn't sure whether the original had 5 games in it only. I went on to get the Dino Den game, reading the description to see if that mentioned anything about it only having a fraction of the games from the PS2 version and it said nothing that I saw to indicate that that was the case. Therefore I downloaded it assuming that the Monkey game had only ever had 5 mini games due to it being the earliest one released and thought I was going to get more in the Dino game, though after downloading I soon realised that was not the case.
I don't think it's right to put (Full Game) after the title when it's been given the exact same name as the PS2 games, because if you have played any of the games before chances are you would read Buzz Junior: Dino Den (Full Game) and just download it without reading the description, I mean why would you read the description for a game you have already played many many times. Though I have learnt my lesson and will not be assuming that because it has the same title and says full game that it is actually what I'm expecting.

There appear to be four Buzz! Junior games on the store. Three of them do say that they contain five minigames, but Dino Den is not so forth-coming. I do think that calling them 'Full Game' is ambiguous, especially given that they have exactly the same name and appearance as PS2 games that are a heck of a lot 'fuller'. You might even say deliberately misleading...

What's really sad is that the full games on the PS2 were really great fun for the whole family and the mini-games are just enough fun to get you back into them but not enough to be worth playing for more than an hour. They've been out for almost a year on the PS3 now and I've been hoping they would release the rest with time - so far no luck. I'd be happy to pay for the additional games.
