I am from Greece and I have bought the console in a store in Greece. I have recentrly bought Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 from amazon.co.uk. I have downloaded the free Call of Duty: ELITE application from the PSN Store. Whne I try to upgrate it into premium (from the option inside the application) I get the message: "There are no items that you can purchase at this time".
I have also tried to buy the Call of Duty ELITE 1 year subscription from the PSN Store but I cannot find it. I went to the menu All games> PS3 Add-Ons> A-C > Call of Duty ELITE. But in there is only the Free application and not the premium one!
I have contacted Activision and they told me that I should contact SONY because they cant do anything to help me since I buy the premium Call of Duty ELITE upgrade through PSN Store. But there is no SONY support in Greece

The problem may stem from having a UK disk? I dunno, but it seems to be the root of all these multi-territory issues...

I doubt this is the problem. If that was the problem I would not be able to download premium throught the ELITE application but the premium subscription would appear in the market.

YESSS finally someone. Dude im from Greece and i have the same prblem with u. I bought 50euro PSN card. then i go to CoD ELITE the app on the playstation store. i press upgrade and it doesnt work. it says the same. "no items can be purchased at the time" UGHH its so annoying

If you have the UK disc then you need the DLC and Elite from the UK store!

I am from Greece and i have the same problem too. I tried to download the UK version of the Elite Call of Duty but after the download is complete it says "an newer version is already been installed",and it stops there.Any other suggestions?

You NEED buy the DLC, elite for you country. UK to Greece, Fance to USA WILL NOT WORK.

UK game needs UK DLC

Greece game needs greece DLC

USA game needs USA DLC

Sony have region and even in europe country locked DLC.

Fine then,if sony doesnt want to buy dls its fine with me. I can leave with that. Their problem, not mine. To create a new account is a little bit difficult because i have already bought dlses for other games and i dont want to loose them. I will add you ASAP comrande
