There seems to be DLC for Homefront already...

If that is the case, that suggests to me, these companies really are milking the DLC and not actually giving the content in the games, but expecting people to pay for content that was probably meant to be in the game in the first place.

To have content available for DLC straight away, and there are plenty of games out there doing this, is one less reason I don't buy DLC and wait for these games to come down in price.

It's either the limited edition's DLC

or the online access code like EA's games altho, putting it on the store when the game isn't out untill next week is kinda dumb

I'd have to agree mate, I mean DLC should be for extra content to add to your experience or lengthen the replay value some time after release.

Having something extra right away is cashing in on what could understandably be seen as "stuff I should have gotten in the first place for my money".

It is called battle code though so it could be a price to pay for those who want to play online with a second hand copy maybe?

Its not downloadable content, its a pass that is required to play online (just like EAs pass)

So hold your horses But I do know what you mean.

It's the online pass. It's been put in place so it's available for download on the store when Homefront is released in Europe (next Tuesday for mainland Europe). Naturally, if you buy the game brand new, you'll find a download code in the box to get this for free.
