Dear Mr Sony

Dear Mr Sony,

after 5 years my playstation 1 finally gave in and wont play any cds anymore. But that was no time to grief but to finally buy myself a playstation 3. Sadly it wont play my ever will be favourite "Castlevania - Symphony of the NIght"! :smileysad:

Now is it possible to add this game to the playstation store that i can buy and enjoy it again on my new playstation 3? That would be so awesome!

Thank you for reading this.

Yours,

Bizkitz

Re: Dear Mr Sony

I would absolutely love to see Castlevania: Symphony of the Night on PSN!

Suikoden and Suikoden II are two other Konami games that would be great to see on PSN.

All signatures sucks, especially those with images in them.

Re: Dear Mr Sony

I see PS1's in charity stops all the time for £10. I'd keep an eye out in the window and this way you can play all your games not just 1.

It's not up to sony, it is up to Konami if they want to put it on our store.

Re: Dear Mr Sony

Your PlayStation 3 should still play your PS1 games. By the look of your post, your PS1 has only just broken now, so keep a hold of your games.

Re: Dear Mr Sony

Sadly, it does not. I got the same problem with Tomb Raider I and II. It will play the logo and eventually go to the menu but if you choose new game its stuck with a dark screen. I know Underworld is better and i got it myself but i like the feeling when you pull off an awesome 3 block jump. :smileyhappy:

I got the 250gb slim if thats any help.

Re: Dear Mr Sony

Make sure it hasn't got high speed disk access or weird texture modes set in the options. Those options on the PS2 meant some games wouldn't play, so I imagine the PS3 is the same. And they might be set by default...?

Re: Dear Mr Sony

How exactly am i supposed to identify "wierd" texture or high speed something settings?

Anyway it would be great to have those games in the store! There are no equals nowadays and i am pretty sure a lot of people would enjoy them!

Re: Dear Mr Sony

Oh yeah - all I can see are smoothing/upscaling options.

Guess you're out of luck.

Re: Dear Mr Sony

It would be quicker and far easier just to go and by another PS1 or I would even get a PS2 because production will stop soon on those so bag yourself a classic while you can :smileywink:

Waiting for the game you want to appear on the Store is like waiting for that tree in your garden to start growing money. Its not going to happen and not by one person writing a letter either lol.
