hi there. Ive neva wrote on forums before and i know this slightly off topic but how do you send requests for games to be added to PSN. I would love a game called Echo Night to be added. It was released in 1999 on PSone but not in UK. I had a Jap copy and it was great. A horror game similar to Silent Hill but based on a ghost ship. I know they have put other PSone Jap imports on PSN  and would like to know if this could be added. Sorry for going on but dont know where to go with this. Thanks for your help. John

You could contact the developer directly, and hope they are listening.

If you do, I urge to spend some time with the message and politely explain in detail what it is you want (on the European PlayStation®Store there is a PSOne import section which allow for original japanese releases and I would love to see Echo Night there blablabla) with proper english. Don't assume the person who first read the message know what PlayStation®Store is, or the company they work for made a game back in the 90s called Echo Night.

That said, don't be too hopeful, I've contacted several publishers over the years asking for PSOne releases (like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night from Konami Europe), and nothing happened besides very boring standard suit replies.

You could also try appealing to a company that might be willing to try to bring a classic japanese release to Western stores even if it has never been published here before. I can think of two developers with a track record of actually having done this:

Monkeypaw (PSOne classics included)

Ghostlight (mainly PSP / PS3 so far)
