Ever bought a game you regretted?

It's really bugging me that I wasted £7.99 on Assassins Creed lol I hate it.

Anyone else ever wasted money on PSN?

Not on PSN as such, but I do own 'Alone in the Dark' and 'Kane and Lynch: Dead Men'... both of which have spent approx 16 minutes in total being played.

Re: Ever bought a game you regretted?

Splinter Cell: Double Agent (terrible PS3 port)

Unreal Tournament (horribly unplayable due to lag in the early days)

Blur (bland graphics, horrible car physics, terrible weapon system)

Check out Extreme Golf or Shepherd for the iPhone.

Re: Ever bought a game you regretted?

I always buy the games I know I'll like but since earlier this year I've made some bad, most likely desperate choices.

1. Prince of Persia Trilogy. OMG I know there quite old now but they were AAA games at the time. They feel horrible, weak platforming, terrible combat and clunky controls. I only just manage to finish The Sands of Time. I started Warrior Within expecting a much improved game, oh how wrong was I. I turned it off within an hour and washed my hands of that trilogy..

2. ICO/SOTC Collection. ICO What an annoying little game, it starts off ok then just turns into some kind of frustration meter getting higher and higher with annoying puzzles and weak combat. After I finished it I was in no rush to start SOTC and I had other games to play.

Fast forward to a few weeks back and I decided to play it, my god and this was a AAA PlayStation exclusive? the controls OMG the controls are awful. Trying to navigate that horse was horrendous. The combat and clinging onto the Colossi was like being shaken by a mad man who's trying to talk sense into you. So annoying and frustrating.

Alice Madness Returns (American McGees Alice). I thought I'd play the original first to get up to date with the story. I enjoyed the game and the level design, its just the controls are so twitchy and trying to stay on small ledges or strafing is a nightmare. I've got about halfway through and given up. I'll Start Alice Madness someday in the hope that its a much better game. But I wont hold my breath or be starting it any time soon.

NOW PLAYING:  Max Payne 3

Kung-fu Live: Unless you live in a sports arena, it's doubtful u will have enough room to configure this accuratley. Very dissapointed!

Apache: fooled myself into believing someone may have made a decent chopper sim

Resi5: corny script + a bit samey FAIL

Apache: Air Assault? It's awesome! If you know of a better helicopter sim on console, I'd love to hear about it. But Gaijin rule when it comes to aircraft simulations IMO. Cannot wait for Birds of Steel early next year (February I think).

Unless you're a PC sim snob, in which case, keep it :smileyhappy:

5. Hustle Kings
6. Destruction Derby
7. Flight Control HD
8. Stand O' Food
9. Crazy Taxi
10. Joe Danger
11. Burn Zombie Burn
12. Uno
13. Wipeout HD
14. Smash Cars
