Are they going to push PS1 HD games for next gen to? There priorities are all over the place.  I really think I'm going to skip the next Playstation.

I will be trying Zen Pinball 2 but I am still poor so won't be a buy just yet. Will also be picking up the PS+ games. Machinarium has been delayed though but Sony are aiming for it to be released this month.

PS1 HD games won't happen. The models and textures are so basic, a higher resolution won't even do much. They really would have to remake all the art and the code isn't portable either so they need to re-code the whole thing too. It's a tremendous effort to remake a whole game, while just using the built-in PS1 emulator of the PS3/PSP/Vita is much easier for many deemed to be good enough. The only problem is just that there are still many PS1 games missing from the PSN store, like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Klonoa: Door to Phantomile and the first two Suikoden games.

While with PS2 HD games no art is changed, and large chunks of the code are portable too. They pretty much just recompile the game, raise the resolution, and swim in the profits. Well, it's a bit more advanced than that, but not by much.

It's just a brand spanking new engine in which to play any Zen or Marvel Pinball tables you already have. Having a Vita version is the special bonus. Ah... Still missing your Vita?

pleased to see zen pinball 2 finally appear but over on the zen forums theirs been a few threads on some of the tables not importing correctly, if anyone has issues their working on a fix.
